COVID-19 surveillance testing at SRWC

Stanford has launched a COVID-19 surveillance testing program, supplying nasal-swab testing kits for self-collection and designating drop-off points for lab processing. This testing program is free for eligible faculty, staff and postdocs and provides regular testing for individuals who are NOT experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. You can check your eligibility on the On-site Role Management System by visiting https://onsiteroles.stanford.edu.

At Stanford Redwood City, the collection site will be at University Hall (485 Broadway, Redwood City, CA, 94063).

  • Located inside University Hall lobby; enter from the courtyard between University and Discovery Hall
  • Park in Barron Garage (permits are required and enforced)
  • Hours of operation:
    • Starting October 7, operating hours will be Wednesdays, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

    • Starting September 23, the testing site will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m

Eligible employees can pick up and drop off their kits at this location. Bring your Stanford ID. Each time you turn in a kit to be processed, you will receive another for subsequent use.

Refer to the Health Alerts announcement for eligibility criteria and guidance on how to activate your kit and self-administer the nasal swab test.
